Angelite Crystal Stones

Angelite gemstones are chemically similar to gypsum, although gypsum contains water, and Angelite doesn’t. It is a soft stone. The meaning of Angelite is to bring soothing and peaceful energy. Angelite stones were first discovered near Machu Picchu in Peru in 1987. Beautiful examples of these gems are mined in Brazil and Mexico as well. This stone mainly crystallizes in the form of masses and is rarely seen in crystal form.

Some believe Angelite represents peace and brotherhood. Believers in crystal healing believe that Angelite is a group of high vibration crystals that help facilitate vibration shifts, awareness, and ascent. Angelite is also believed to work to clear the throat, third eye, and crown chakras. Some people use Angelite during meditation to enhance the meditative state.

This Angelite is born from parched areas where Gypsum Crystals once sat in the company of water. As the thousands of years tick on, the water dries up, and the crystals get compressed, and blue Angelite is born. In Europe, you can find Angelite crystals in Austria, Germany, Italy, Poland, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
