Bulk Calcite Crystals

Calcite derives its name from the Greek word for chalk, "chalix". Calcite is a mineral that is commonly found all over the world. The internal value is low because it is not rare. However, calcite is one of the most difficult to cut all minerals because of the splitting in the directions. Therefore the cutting labor has to pay the highest price. Cut calcite above 50 carats is very rare. It comes in a variety of shapes and colors, available in Gray, Yellow, Red, Pink, Orange, Green, Blue-Brown, and Black. Calcite is often fluorescent.

Calcite has more uses than any other mineral. It is used in building materials, abrasives, agro-soil treatment, construction aggregates, pigment, and pharmaceuticals. Believers in crystal healing believe that calcite is an accelerating crystal.

This calcite is formed by the hydration of calcium-containing water in caves or limestone. More than 300 crystal forms of calcite have been identified, and thousands of different crystal variations can be created by combining these forms. There are many types of calcite, all of which are impossible to describe.
